How to Set Up IPTV on a MAG Box
Configure an Infomir MAG set-top box for IPTV — find the MAC address, register it with your provider, set the portal URL and start watching.

MAG boxes by Infomir work differently from app-based devices: there's no login screen. Instead, the box's MAC address is registered on the service side, and the box points at a portal URL. Once both halves are in place, it just works — which is why MAG boxes remain popular with people who want zero fuss after setup.
Step 1: Find the MAC address
Two places to read it:
- The sticker on the underside of the box — the MAC address of genuine Infomir hardware starts with 00:1A:79.
- On screen: Home → Settings → System Settings → Device Info shows the same address.
Note it down exactly, colons included.
Step 2: Register the MAC address with us
Send the MAC address to Nexlivo support (WhatsApp, live chat or email — whichever suits). We link your subscription to the box and reply with your portal URL. Nothing else identifies the box, so this step is essential — a MAG box with an unregistered MAC shows an empty portal or a loading error.
Step 3: Enter the portal URL
- From the box's home screen open Settings → System Settings.
- Select Servers, then Portals.
- In Portal 1 name, enter anything memorable — "Nexlivo".
- In Portal 1 URL, enter the portal address from our message, character-perfect.
- Save (usually the KB/OK on-screen prompt or the back key confirming).
Step 4: Restart and watch
Restart the box (General → Restart Portal, or just pull power for ten seconds). On boot it contacts the portal, loads the channel list and guide, and drops you into live TV. No further logins, ever — the box remembers everything.
Cheap MAG "clones" exist with spoofed MAC addresses; they often misbehave with portals and updates. If your MAC doesn't begin 00:1A:79, tell support when you register — we'll advise honestly whether the box will work.
If something is not working
- "Page loading error" — the portal URL is mistyped, or the MAC isn't registered yet. Recheck both; one character is enough to break it.
- Channels load but some won't play — try a restart first, then see fixing IPTV buffering — MAG boxes benefit from wired Ethernet like everything else.
- Guide data missing — fixing an IPTV EPG.
- Support handles MAG registrations daily — message us with the MAC and we'll take it from there.
