Almost always a typo or a missing port number on the server URL. Details are case-sensitive, and on a TV screen a capital I and a lowercase l look identical. Retype them from the source rather than from memory.
The list has not finished downloading, or needs a refresh. Use Settings then Refresh All. If it stays empty, remove and re-add the playlist.
