IPTV Smarters is the most common starting point for Fire TV users: the login screen asks for exactly the details in your Nexlivo welcome message, and the layout is easy to learn. Here's the full install.
Step 1: Try the Amazon Appstore first
Availability changes by region and over time, so check the easy route before sideloading:
- From the Fire TV home screen, open Find → Search.
- Type IPTV Smarters and look through the results.
- If a Smarters app (including IPTV Smarters Player) appears, click Get / Download and skip straight to Step 3.
If nothing suitable is listed, sideload it — that's Step 2.
Step 2: Sideload with Downloader
This mirrors the standard Firestick process (covered in more detail in the full Firestick tutorial):
- Settings → My Fire TV → Developer Options → Install unknown apps — you'll enable this for Downloader in a moment. If Developer Options is hidden, open My Fire TV → About, highlight the device name and click it seven times.
- Install Downloader from the Appstore, then switch it ON under Install unknown apps.
- Open Downloader and enter the IPTV Smarters APK address in the URL box.
- Press Go, wait for the download, then click Install and Open.
Step 3: Log in with your Nexlivo details
- Open IPTV Smarters and accept the terms screen. The app is third-party software by its own developer — your Nexlivo details simply work inside it.
- Choose Login with Xtream Codes API.
- Fill in the fields from your welcome message:
- Name — anything you like ("Nexlivo" is fine)
- Username and Password — exactly as sent, case-sensitive
- URL — the full server address including the
http://part and port
- Click Add User.
Step 4: Load channels and the guide
On first login the app downloads live categories, films and series lists. Open Live TV, and use the EPG install prompt (or Settings → EPG) to pull the programme guide. The first EPG download can take a couple of minutes — after that it refreshes quietly in the background.
In Settings → Player Settings you can choose the built-in player or an external one for live, films and series separately. If a stream format ever misbehaves, switching the player engine for that content type usually cures it.
If something is not working
- "Invalid details" at login — almost always a typo or an extra space at the end of a field. See fixing login problems.
- Channel list is empty after login — pull down to refresh, or use Settings → Refresh All — the same fix as refreshing your playlist.
- Guide shows "No information" — the EPG needs a manual refresh: fix an IPTV EPG.
- Anything else, message support any time.
